Photographing Tigers in the wild can only be described as one of the most incredible experiences. It's not every day safari, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so you want to get it right and go with the right people to the right places. Chris and Megan went with Lionscape and everything was fabulous. Great camp and the best guides in the world.

Thank you very much for a wonderful trip. As others have said we were superbly looked after from Delhi aiport right to the end of our holiday. The whole experience was very special but the time at Bandhavgarh was unforgettable.
The Tiger Trails resort was extremely comfortable and attractively rustic with lovely friendly and helpful staff. Our 4 drivers were all different but great fun and each had their own way of trying to get the most out of each game drive. Pat and I had great tiger experiences with all of them and it was with heavy hearts that we left Tala even to go to the Taj Mahal and our palace hotel.

A very big thank you for a wonderful and very memorable trip to Bandavghargh. From the moment we stepped off the plane until the second we left Delhi, on our return, the organisation and attention we received was second to none!
The train journey will be remembered for a very long time for many reasons - not least because of the local gentleman's amusement at the chaining of bags and lengthy discussions on the facilities!
Tiger Trails Resort and the entire staff based there attended to our every need and made us comfortable and secure and were always willing to oblige with meal requests etc. The drivers! - well what can we say - they all made each foray into the Park an adrenaline rush and whether we saw tigers every day or not, each day held a different experience for everybody. Please pass on our thanks to everyone for making it such a fantastic holiday.

A brief note to let you know how much I enjoyed the recent Tiger Tiger trip .I thought you had organised everything so well. Of the rail journeys after sampling both 1st. and 2nd class, there was not much real difference between the two. I cannot praise the drivers too highly, delightful people and so good spotting the animals as well as keeping to the roads! The guides were superfluous.

The trip was wonderful. Your attention to detail and love of Bandhavgarh was evident in both the respect that the people have for you and you for them. It was with delight that we answered that were one of “Pete’s” people. That attention started with being met at the Delhi airport and continued through the arranged tours in Delhi before the group’s arrival, the tour itself, the Agra extension and finally delivering me back to the airport. I would book any one of your tours with complete and total confidence.
The accommodations were great at Tiger Trails, the staff was a pure delight and the local night was great fun. The drivers were fabulous and very knowledgeable; Jay was a great resource and I truly enjoyed getting to know him and spend a bit of time with his wife. Then there is Bandhavgarh. What a treasure, from the tigers to the fort, Vishnu to the vultures, birds to butterflies and who could ever get enough of the little spotted deer and monkeys.
One of my favorite videos is one I made the last morning, sitting by the side of a meadow listening to the warning calls. When I play that, I’m almost back in Bandhavgarh. I’ve been wowing my family and friends with pictures and stories of tiger sightings.
It was wonderful to be so well cared for and looked after. I have a feeling you will see me again.

The trip to Bandhavgarh was beyond our wildest expectations, had we caught a few fleeting glimpses of a tiger we would have returned to the UK happy campers but our experiences were amazing. I still look back at the photographs & think WOW I was there & sooo close!
It's fantastic to hear my Dad raving about the tigers & to hear him talk with such enthusiasm is a real treat, you didn't experience the calm laid back man that we all know, as Lucky Leonard always had an exciting story to tell of an evening! I'm so glad that he had the luckiest trip of us all as it has been a lifelong dream of his to see a wild tiger.
The drivers were excellent & a huge thank you, should go to them for taking such good care of my Mum, they were fantastic! I worked out that we had seen 9 different tigers on 21 occasions but I haven't work out from Mum & Dad's pictures & videos exactly how many sightings they had, I just know it was more than us. With your assistance & guidance both Ritch & I have taken pictures we can be proud of, Ritch more so than me. Some of them are just amazing I can't believe that an amateur photographer has taken them, the only problem is we don't have enough wall space for all the really good ones!
Overall we had an amazing experience that none of us will forget, thank you for arranging such an outstanding trip & all being well I will be in touch in not the too distant future to book another one. I can't speak for the others on this but know that I have got the tiger bug!

We had three really fantastic sightings when we saw B2 just a few metres from the Jeep and no other people around and then again in the afternoon we were very close to him. Then of course the last morning when we saw the tigress from the elephant. Never mind the quantity it was the quality that counted! The park itself is beautiful and we really enjoyed the morning visit to the fort.

I really wanted to say a very big thank you for the wonderful experience down in Bandhavgarh. We use fantastic, incredible, wonderful, awesome so much in everyday life they seem to have lost a lot of their real impact when we want to use them in their true sense. These are the only adjectives I can find to describe my experience down there with you and your crew. I still feel I need to pinch myself that I was even there and saw what I did.
There were so many highlights, from the sleepy tiger we encountered on day 1 and encountered on other occasions, the playful sets of cubs who put on a real shows for us almost daily, the set of cubs who tried to catch peacocks, the magnificent male tigers who wowed us by looking straight into the camera, the leopard who became our start and end point for each drive. Let me not forget the other whildlife, the chittals, monkeys and numerous birds and of course the little owlette in its tree home on the way back to camp. I still don't know how the drivers can drive, spot the wildlife, carry on conversations, manouvre you into the right position and be at the front of the queue the whole time ... I thought it was only women who could multi task!!
The detailed thought you have put into your trips is what makes the difference from the way the tour is scheduled with the night in a hotel in Delhi to recover from the flight to the configuration of the vehicles. It is also about the little touches, the local agents, the staff at Tiger Trails, coupled with you unbounding enthusiasm and great love for Bandhavgarh, its people and habitat. Your hand picked drivers also help make the experience what it is ... Bamu who took the pictures for us whilst balancing on the jeep roof because we were too scared to get up there! - it all adds to the memories and fantastic experience.

Twenty eight sightings in ten days were well in excess of even our wildest dreams and we will never, ever, forget the two sightings with you, the first at point blank range of a young male, and the second with only our jeep overlooking a waterhole as we watched another magnificent male come to drink and wash. Then there was the hectic drive out of the park as dusk fell so that we did not get locked in with the tigers for the night. Unforgettable!
We also hugely enjoyed the Chambal experience. There is something there for everyone: cultural at the temples on the river at Bateshwar, wonderful food and hospitality at the Chambal Safari Lodge and, above all else the incredible wildlife, the really knowledgeable guides and the river safaris to see the black ibis and the endangered gharials and Gangetic dolphins. There are even three species of owls roosting in the grounds.
After the hustle and bustle of Delhi and Agra, the chance to get well away from the normal tourist trails and visit rural India gave us a completely different slant on this great continent. This is one of those really special places in the world and we would strongly urge future guests to grab the chance to experience Chambal.

The tigers certainly lived up to expectation and, as a birder, I was very happy with the Tiger Trails resort and the birdlife there. I thought the people there were also very helpful and friendly.
