In
April 2005, I returned to Bandhavagarh to follow the progress of the tiger
families that I had seen in January and November 2004. On this visit I
was accompanied by a BBC film crew shooting a documentary about my work
for the Inside Out series. The sightings were exceptional, totalling 47
in the two weeks that we were there. Of the 19 tigers in the range that
is open to the public, we were privileged to see all but one! |

The footage from this trip will be screened on Monday 5th September 2005 on BBC One at 7.30 pm. The Tigers who will be featured in the documentary can be seen in the tiger galleries and Limited Edition section. If you have any questions either before or after the screening, please do hesitate to contact me. Alternatively, feel free to come and see us at a show. Tours To Bandhavgarh If the documentary and the galleries whet your appetite, I will be running several tours to Bandhavgarh in 2006. The tours have been designed to give the best possible chance of seeing tigers in the wild, whilst at the same time enjoying the other wildlife and beautiful surroundings of the park. I have found that the best way to see tigers is to stay in one area for an extended period of time, rather than travel to several parks for comparatively short stays. With this in mind each tour allows 10 days in the park, and includes 20 game drives and 10 elephant rides in the price. The tours section contains full details. |
